“One thing that we can all agree on is
that the implementation of Common Core has been a disaster that has failed to improve
the quality of education our students receive. Earlier this year, after hearing
concerns of parents and students, we passed reforms to lessen the burden of
Common Core testing on our children. Today we continued those reforms to ensure
teachers and principals are not unfairly punished for the poor performance of
state officials.”
